- Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) KLS GIT conducted a historic moment ” Viksit Bharat@2047 Event” on 11/12/23 at 11:00am launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri.Narendra Modi.
- On 07/12/2023 at 10:30am in ISE Department-GIT, a grand “WELCOME to FRESHERS !!! 3rd semester ISE students, who are our new ISE family members and also a valued, experienced community of the department. A memorable get-together hosted by the ISE-Department,GIT on the eve!!!
- On 29/11/23 at 10:30am in Silver Jubilee auditorium, gear up for an electrifying experience!!!. We’re thrilled to announce arrival of illustrious Dr.Shrinivas Kulkarni all the way from Canada to our campus. His expert technical talk on “International Cybercrime” with a focus on research avenues in cyber security.
- Dr. Sudhindra B. Deshpande faculty memeber of our department was invited as resource person to the Faculty Development Program FDP (FDP) with a topic: “Effective Teaching Learning Padagogy” at 10:00 am on 16/08/23 was arranged by Computer Science & Engg. department at Anagadi Institute of Technology & Management, Belagavi.
- A session on “Pedagogical training using Generative AI” conducted by Dr Sudhindra B Deshpande to all faculty members of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical Engineering branches and Applied Science bracnhes including Physics, Maths in 2-slots on 12 Aug 2023 from 11am-1.30pm & 2.30pm-5pm. The session was consisting of hands-on practice of Generative AI tools that are useful for completing many academic tasks
- Farewell ceremony was arranged for the out going batch 2022-23 students on 22nd July’2023
- Dr Padma Dandannavar, received appreciation for serving as a Program Committee Member in the 3rd international Conference on Data Science & Big Data Analytics (IDBA –ACMWIR) 2023.
