5-Day FDP ON “Internet of Things through ICT” FROM 28.03.2022 TO 01.04.2022 in association with Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NITTTR, Chandigarh containing3 sessions per day on different topics related to IoT viz., Demystifying Internet of Things, Implementation of IoT Scenario using Cooja Simulator, Sensor Data Acquisition using Tinkercad, Using Arduino: Open Source Hardware for IoT, Developing Applications using Arduino, Developing Applications using Raspberry Pi, Interfacing MQTT IoT Broker for Real Time Communications and Implementation of Smart traffic Management System using Open Source Simulator. The explanation with hands-on practice sessions guided by experts in the domain made the FDP more effective and succefull.

5-Days FDP by Heartfullness Institute

5-Days FDP by Heartfullness Institute conducted from 20/2/2023 to 24/2/2023 online for the faculties and the students of Gogte Institute of Technology. The faculty development program was conducted by eminent doctros in the field of mental health treatment, psychiatrists and neurosurgeons on the topic “Integreted Well-being and Mental Health”. The FDP organized by Prof. S.D.Perur under the guidance of Dr. K.K. Tangod HOD ISE Dept.-GIT.

3-Days FDP on UX / UI

3-Days Faculty Development Program(FDP) from 7-9-2022 to 9-9-2022 on the topic “Design with Fun: UX/UI” was organized from 10am to 5pm everyday for the IT circuit branches of GIT by the Informaprogram Science Engineering department in association with Institute Innovation Council(IIC) coordinators Dr.Manjula Ramannavar, Dr.Padma Dandannavar,Dr.Sudhindra Deshpande under the direction of Dr. Kiraan K Tangod HOD ISE Dept.,GIT. The FDP conducted. The resource person Mr. Vijay Kamat Lead UX Designer, Athenahealth, Bangalore gave the detaled knowledge on the user interface design along with hands-on challenges to the participants on various usecases of the industry.

Workshop on IoT

Workshop on”Getting Started with IoT” for higher semester students of all IT circuit branches conducted by the ISE Department faculty members Prof.P.S.Upparamani & Prof.Shubha G Sanu on 4th Feb’2022. The workshop with brief introduction to IoT features and circuit configurations , different types of boards and their uses in realtime shown to the students. Session concluded with giving hands-on challeges to students for different variation in the circuit functionalities.

3-Days Faculty Development Program conducted by PwC Software Development Industry, Bangalore towards “Salesforce Administration, Development and Lightning Practices” for the faculty members of three departments CSE, ISE and E&C of GIT from20th April 2021 to 22nd April 2021.The FDP was organized by Prof.S.K.Madi ISE and Prof.A.V.Nelli CSE. The various resource personnel from PwC Software Industry gave a live presentations and demonstration sessions towards salesforce CRM automation usecases.
